We’re delighted to announce web push support on iOS devices, starting iOS 16.4, released today, march 24th 2023.
If you’re already using WonderPush for your web push notifications, you don’t have to do anything: we’ve made your website compatible. You’ll start seeing iOS devices in your installations.
How did we get there?
It’s been a while since we’ve been waiting for iOS to support web push. We’ve been pushing hard for this to happen, no pun intended. Our change.org petition has been around and got more than 7000+ signatures.
How many new iOS subscribers should you expect?

It’s explained here and the process looks like this:
This probably means limited subscription rates, but we are actively working on the subject to make it as easy as we can – and as Apple will allow – for users to subscribe.
What’s next?
Watch out for coming soon Popup templates targeted at iOS users, we’re working on them to help users add your website to their home screens, or create your own popup.
Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or comments as always.
